I, the applicant, understand that BayWatchRI membership is subject to certain terms and conditions.  Membership covers non-emergency towing or emergency fuel drops in the specified area of coverage.

BayWatchRI does not cover the cost of fueling a vessel or repairs to include any of the vessels working parts.  BayWatchRI membership does not cover vessels sinking, taking on water, wrecked or heavily damaged by natural causes or owners fault, unmanned, running free, burning or run hard aground, beached, run on rocks or reefs or the salvage of vessels.  Membership coverage area is within a 25 mile radius of Beavertail Point and includes Block Island, Providence River, Sakonnet River, Seekonk River, Mt. Hope Bay for the coverage area.

Management reserves the right to decline service due to weather intensity, acts of nature or safety factors beyond the control of BayWatchRI.  During periods of heavy traffic all calls will be handled in a priority manner as determined by BayWatchRI management.  Membership includes fuel drops, battery jumps and/or a restart.  Members will be towed to their chosen homeport on record, marina or mooring in the coverage area.  No towing from dock or marina to marina unless specifically requested by member at which billing will be for 50% of non-member rate.

One boat per membership unless requested and agreed to through membership subscription.  It should also be understood that BayWatchRI shall be held harmless for property damage or personal injury sustained by any member vessels, cargo, or passengers, while service is being rendered.  BayWatchRI will not be held responsible for damages or loss of life due to waiting period for service and/or weather conditions.  Also, any physical or mechanical conditions that are restricted beyond human control, BayWatchRI will not be held responsible.

If an emergency arises that inevitably leads to injury to passengers aboard a vessel, or the act will threaten the injury of those aboard, members must contact the Coast Guard immediately and request emergency assistance.  BayWatchRI reserves the right to terminate or limit this membership for any abuse.  Also, BayWatchRI reserves the right to terminate membership at any time for any reason.

Termination is effective immediately upon receipt or notice given to the member by a representative of BayWatchRI.  If member vessel is covered by private marine insurance and damage should occur to the vessel, member agrees to submit invoice for said damage and recovery for service rendered by BayWatchRI is payable to BayWatchRI.

BayWatchRI membership does not cover commercial vessels except by special programs and pricing.

I understand that if I am not completely satisfied with my BaywatchRI plan I may cancel my membership for a full refund within 30 days.
