Membership is active 24hrs after completion and acceptance of your membership application. Membership must be paid PRIOR  to a request for assistance to receive the Member Services. Member Priority Tows are FREE within our “Service Area”. Our “Service Area” includes ALL Rhode Island waters and 25 miles south of Block Island.  This does not include “dock to dock” towing, only tows where you are unable to bring your vessel into port on its own power. We will do “dock to dock” towing for members, the fee rate is ONE HALF (50%) of the non-member tow fee, unless otherwise agreed upon prior to service. Minimum one (1) hour will be charged.

Non-Members:

           Non-Members still receive the same quick courteous service but are not entitled to free services. Tow services are based on an hourly rate, from the time our boat leaves dock until the time it arrives back to our base. Minimum one (1) hour will be charged. Dock to dock towing is full non-member hourly rate, unless otherwise agreed upon prior to service.

            Q:  What if you are out of the “Service Area” and need a tow?

            A:  If you are out of our “Service Area” and are in need of a tow.  Contact BaywatchRI via phone — We will in turn contact the closest towing service and we can arrange for the quickest way to get you into the closet port for repairs. We will NOT cover having your vessel towed directly into homeport. We will only cover up to $3,500.00 for out of area tow services.  Any fees above that are your sole responsibility.
